Azzalure – (1x125iu)

Azzalure is a local muscle relaxant adapted from the botulinum toxin type-A of Dysport. It is specifically designed for use in aesthetic indications. And it’s the aesthetic version of Dysport for the European Union member states.

Injections of Azzalure work in treatment for forehead, crow’s feet or frown lines. It is also effective against migraines, teeth grinding or excessive sweating.

What is Azzalure

Azzalure contains botulinum toxin A. Botulinum toxic causes muscles to relax. It acts at the junction between the nerves and muscles to prevent the release of a chemical messenger called acetylcholine from the nerve endings.

Azzalure works for temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe.

Azzalure injections

It is administered by means of injections. When injected into the target muscle. Azzalure binds to the presynaptic nerve endings, crosses the pre-synaptic nerve membrane, and blocks the release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Approved indications for Azzalure

Adults

Azzalure is for the improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe vertical lines between the eyebrows seen at a frown.  Usually, in adult patients under 65 years. When the severity of these lines has an important psychological impact on the patient.

Children

There is no relevant indication for the use of Azzalure in patients under the age of 18. The safety and effectiveness of Azzalure in individuals under 18 years of age have not been demonstrated.
